Empty the kettle of water, add a tsp of Cream of Tartar into the bottom of it, fill the kettle with water to the max fill line.
Turn on kettle, boil water and be amazed that the inside will be shiny and new again! For harder water stains let sit for 10 or 15 minutes.
Then rinse kettle and you're done!
